May Institute is seeking an Assistant Training Coordinator to support training and recertification activities for our Randolph school and residential programs. In this role, you will coordinate the annual training calendar, facilitate recertification sessions, prepare training materials, and maintain accurate employee training records . The position requires occasional schedule flexibility, including some evening hours and occasional weekend training sessions. You'll play an important role in preparing employees to provide safe, respectful, and high-quality support throughout our school and residential programs. What You'll Do Develop and maintain the annual refresher training calendar for the division. Coordinate training sessions by reserving rooms, preparing materials, setting up training spaces, and communicating schedules to employees and managers. Facilitate recertification training for Safety-Care, CPR, AED, First Aid, and other required programs. Track employee attendance, participation, and certification requirements in accordance with organizational and licensing standards. Prepare and maintain training documentation , including registration forms, rosters, sign-in sheets, course descriptions, and employee acknowledgments. Provide accurate training and certification information for entry into the Learning Management System. Maintain trainer certifications and complete additional training required for the position. Monitor training supplies and equipment , submit supply orders, and recommend equipment replacement when needed. Maintain organized training rooms, meeting spaces, and material storage areas. Create an inclusive and supportive learning environment that encourages participation and treats all attendees with respect and dignity. Collaborate professionally with employees, managers, vendors, conference facilities, and representatives from outside organizations. Contribute to continuous improvement projects that strengthen training quality, increase efficiency, and support the individuals we serve. What You Bring Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent relevant experience , with demonstrated knowledge of human services. At least one year of experience in human services management. Ability to deliver engaging training to both small and large audiences. Strong group facilitation and communication skills , both written and verbal. Previous classroom training experience preferred. Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and internet-based applications. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and complete assignments accurately and on time. Ability to maintain required trainer certifications, including Safety-Care, CPR, AED, and First Aid. Flexibility to occasionally conduct evening or weekend training sessions. Why Join Us?
