Job Description

Header Overview We are seeking part-time Field Training Support personnel to assist with training courses at the U.S. Army Medical Research Institute of Chemical Defense (USAMRICD), Chemical Casualty Care Division (CCCD). This role supports hands-on CCCD courses by setting up decontamination training sites, issuing and recovering MOPP gear, staging field equipment, assisting students during practical exercises, and resetting training areas after course completion. Work is scheduled as needed, making it a good fit for firefighters, EMS personnel, military veterans, hazmat responders, or other emergency response professionals with rotating schedules. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting medical field training and CBRNE defense operations. Responsibilities Support hands-on classroom and field training activities for resident CCCD courses, including Medical Management of Chemical and Biological Casualties (MCBC), Field Management of Chemical and Biological Casualties (FCBC), and Hospital Management of CBRNE Incidents (HM-CBRNE). Assist with course activities, including decontamination site setup, MOPP gear issue and recovery, field equipment staging, and practical exercise support. Support the management, control, and maintenance of CBRNE protective equipment, military field equipment, and training materials. Assist with supply coordination and inventory. Help maintain and organize classroom, field training, and warehouse facilities. Coordinate the setup and breakdown of lecture areas before and after each course. Monitor students and staff for compliance with safety requirements and ensure the secure storage and use of training materials and equipment. Qualifications Firefighter, EMS, hazmat, CBRNE, military medical training, combat medic, or related emergency response experience preferred. Experience supporting field training exercises, practical exercises, hands-on responder training, medical field training, CBRNE defense operations, CBRNE casualty management, or related classroom support preferred. Familiarity with PPE, decontamination procedures, military or CBRNE equipment, and applicable safety procedures preferred. Ability to support both military and civilian audiences in a field training environment. Ability to adhere to safety requirements and federal storage guidelines for CBRNE materials.
Pay:
$45.00 - $55.00 per hour
