Training Resource Specialist Location:
Columbia, MD (Hybrid - 3 Days Onsite / 2 Days Remote)
Duration:
6-9 Month Contract (Opportunity to be Extended or Conversion)
Starting Pay:
$25-40/hr
Work Authorization:
U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident Required Skills & Experience Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly PowerPoint, Word, and Excel. Point experience, including content management and site administration. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Experience creating documentation, job aids, work instructions, or SOPs. Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. High School Diploma or equivalent. Preferred Skills & Experience Bachelor's degree completed or in progress. Technical writing or instructional design experience. Experience developing curriculum, training materials, or onboarding resources. Graphic design experience creating engaging visual learning content. Experience working with Learning Management Systems (LMS). Background in teaching, training coordination, or employee development. Job Description / Day-to-Day Responsibilities Partner with the Service Training Manager to develop and improve training resources. Create and maintain digital training materials, job aids, work instructions, and SOPs. Work with stakeholders across departments to identify training needs and develop learning solutions. Convert technical processes and system workflows into easy-to-follow documentation and training materials. Manage and update Point learning portals and training resources. Utilize screenshots, graphics, and existing materials to create engaging learning content. Support curriculum development and onboarding initiatives for service teams across North America. Ideal Candidate Someone with a background in instructional design, technical writing, education, training, communications, or graphic design who enjoys creating learning materials and improving training resources, rather than delivering training sessions directly.
