Readiness Assessment Consultant BigBear.ai United States, Maryland, Annapolis Junction Aug 22, 2026 Residency All applicants must currently reside in the United States Overview BigBear.ai is seeking a Senior Readiness Assessment Consultant to provide independent analytic advice and contribute directly to efforts to develop, integrate and continually improve processes associated with the readiness assessment, its integration with related business management information, and its integration into existing management and decision-making processes. This position is full time on a customer site in Maryland and requires an active TS/SCI with a polygraph. What you will do Readiness is the objective measure of a team, organization, or group to achieve its mission goals. This includes assuring the team has the right people, with the right training, and with the proper experience. These are metrics continuously reevaluated as personnel and requirements change. You'll work on a team that engages with these teams to help streamline the Readiness process and make collection and reporting more efficient. Develop, coordinate, and staff Readiness Assessment documents. Conduct and document lessons learned Implement readiness assessments Contribute to Mission Essential List development What you need to have
Clearance:
Must possess and maintain a TS w/ Polygraph Eight (8) or more years of combined experience in: Readiness (in the SIGINT operations, CYBER, or DoD domains) and/or Capabilities and requirements analysis. Candidate should have a Bachelor's or higher degree. A graduate or higher degree will be accepted in lieu of two (2) years of overall experience; OR a bachelor's degree or higher in a business related field, program management, or systems engineering will be accepted in lieu of two (2) years of overall experience. The graduate or higher degree OR bachelor's degree or higher in identified business fields cannot be considered together for more than two (2) years of overall experience. What we'd like you to have Familiarity with the Joint Forces Readiness Report (JFRR), the Joint Combat Capability Assessment (JCCA) and the Defense Readiness Reporting System (DRRS). Well versed in Microsoft Office Tools, able to convert data into usable information for decision making purposes and self motivated.
