Role Overview The Founding Trainer plays a pivotal role in launching a new PVOLVE studio in their market. You'll have the unique opportunity to shape the culture, quality, and community of a flagship studio from the ground up. You'll be a leader in a rapidly growing, science-backed fitness brand, backed by a team committed to your success and ongoing development. ______________________________________________________________________________RESPONSIBILITIES
Brand + Community Building Serve as a local brand ambassador, building early awareness through events. community activations, press opportunities, and teaching pop-up classes. Contribute to local marketing, social media growth, and strategic brand partnerships. Trainer Recruitment + Development Partner with the franchise owner and HQ leadership team to recruit additional part-time trainers to the team. Participate in the review of auditions and support the franchise owner in hiring decisions. Provide mentorship to those training for PVOLVE's 100-hour immersive certification. Complete both Pop-Up Training and the full 100-hour immersive training programs to become PVOLVE certified. Operational Readiness Assist in prepping the studio for launch, including equipment setup and schedule planning. Collaborate with HQ leadership team to ensure readiness across talent, systems, and studio experience. Once the studio launches, the Founding Trainer may transition into a leadership role focused on delivering classes, mentoring the trainer team, and driving studio performance. The role has the potential to evolve into a larger position with elevated responsibilities at the franchise owner's discretion. This evolution is aligned with demonstrated growth, aptitude, and the ability to support the team in expanded ways. As the studio scales, this individual sets the tone for trainer excellence, fosters a strong community, and plays a key role in achieving studio success. Leadership + Mentorship Serve as the lead trainer, teaching 10 - 15 weekly classes while mentoring the trainer team through ongoing feedback, support, and development. Deliver trainer meetings focused on growth, quality, and performance. Act as the liaison between the HQ leadership team and studio leadership to ensure consistency in coaching and member experience. Model excellence in all areas of the class experience: alignment, cueing, energy, motivation, vocals, music, and brand standards. Trainer Development Observe and evaluate trainer performance regularly; provide coaching that supports skill development and brand consistency. Lead in-studio education and continuing education under the direction of the HQ training team. Support the recruitment, onboarding, and training of new hires following studio launch to maintain all schedule needs as the studio grows. Studio Growth + Community Engagement Partner with the studio manager to achieve studio retention, utilization, and membership conversion goals. Collaborate on community and marketing events to deepen member engagement and grow studio visibility. Grow and maintain a strong presence on social media in alignment with studio goals and brand tone. Qualifications 3+ years of group fitness instruction experience Prior experience or the passion for leading and mentoring fitness teams Strong mic presence and ability to command a room with energy and charisma Understanding of anatomy, alignment, movement execution, and exercise safety with the ability to coach others Growth mindset with a high level of emotional intelligence and receptivity to feedback Strong communication, organization, and time management skills Experience with social media and community engagement is a plus Must hold a certification to teach group fitness Available to work mornings, evenings, and weekendsPay:
