SALARY RANGE
$143,000 - $220,000/year. DUTIES As a successful candidate for the Training Subject Matter Expert II role, you will act as a Systems Engineer supporting the training team to design, develop, and deliver technical training that prepares operators and analysts for mission-critical work. In this position, you will serve as a technical authority by providing instruction, coaching, and hands-on support while maintaining training pipelines, qualification standards, and practical exercises. Working closely with instructors, curriculum developers, and mission leadership, you will ensure course materials reflect current tradecraft to shape and prepare the next generation of operators for evolving missions. Required Skills SKILLS Develop technical training curricula, course materials, and hands-on exercises for training operations Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) to instruct, coach, and mentor students and junior personnel Develop and review Job Qualification Standards (JQS) and Technique Qualification Standards (TQS) to align training with mission requirements Create and maintain structured training pipelines with measurable milestones and timeline adherence Provide systems engineering expertise and technical documentation support to training teams and key stakeholders
QUALIFICATIONS
Eight (8) years of experience as a SE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required. A bachelor's degree in a related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Four (4) years of additional SE experience may be substituted for a Bachelor's Degree.

Demonstrate strong knowledge of CNE/CNO operations and cyber mission tradecraft Develop and deliver technical training programs and instructional materials Draft, evaluate, and review Job Qualification Standards (JQS) and Technique Qualification Standards (TQS) Apply core operating system and networking concepts, including system design, security, and troubleshooting Desired Skills
NICE-TO-HAVES
Build and manage training environments using virtualization platforms such as VMware/ESXi, Proxmox, and KVM Script and develop in modern programming and scripting languages including Bash, Python, and C++ Design and deploy virtual training environments and Capture-The-Flag (CTF) scenarios Mentor and guide operators and exploitation analysts to advance technical proficiency Apply AI/ML technologies to optimize workload efficiency and automate routine tasks group id: 91130336 Apply now
