Join Our Team at KidsPeace as a Training Specialist! Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children and families? As a Training Specialist , you'll play a crucial role in the development, implementation, and evaluation of our Annual Training Plan. Your expertise will ensure that our training meets both internal and external requirements, fostering a culture of growth and compliance. This is an incredible opportunity to empower your colleagues while enhancing your own professional journey! Please note that this position is shared between the Ellsworth, Maine Campus, and the Orono, Maine campus. In order to qualify, you must be available to work in both locations.
What You'll Do:
Develop and implement the Annual Training Plan, tailored to meet the needs of our staff Create engaging orientation and new hire curriculums that inspire and inform Coordinate monthly training calendars with a variety of training formats to suit diverse learning styles Deliver essential trainings on topics mandated by Licensing, KidsPeace, and other agencies Assist in Quality Assurance trainings to uphold our commitment to excellence
What We're Looking For:
Relevant experience in training and development that showcases your ability to engage and educate staff An associate or bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred Strong organizational and computer skills Excellent verbal and written communication abilities Experience with trainings such as Ukeru, SCM, First Aid, and CPR is a plus Ability to work in Orono approximately 50% of the time and Ellsworth approximately 50% of the time Why Work at KidsPeace? Full-time Pay:
$22.00 - $24.00 per hour
