Job Description

Plan, implement, supervise and evaluate activities and programs at the Boys & Girls Club of the Bemidji Area, with locations in Blackuck & Bemidji. The Club works to provide a safe & fun environment where youth can learn from caring adults, have opportunities, be recognized and set high expectations for themselves and others. Plan, promote, organize & implement high quality & fun programs, services and activities that prepare youth for success. Promote safety of members at all times. Provide guidance and role modeling to members Manage program spaces, maintain program equipment and supplies. Recommend requisitions, as necessary. Demonstrate leadership by comprehending and contextualizing our key initiatives, grant deliverables, strategic plan, goals and mission. Monitor & lead assigned non-staff volunteers, program partners & contractors and provide ongoing feedback.

Program Hours are:
Bemidji School Year:

Between the hours of 2p.m. and 7:30p.m., M-F.

Bemidji Summer:

Between the hours of 7:00a.m. and 5:30 p.m., M-F.

Blackduck School Year:
Mondays:

6:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.,

T-F:

3:30 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Blackduck Summers:

6:30a.m. to 5:30 p.m., T-H Successful applicants should indicate in their application which location they are applying for. Applicants can be interested in year round employment, school year only or summer only. Applicants do not need to be available during all hours. Background check and references required. Applicants should be at least 18 years old, however the Club does hire some minors as 'youth workers'. Youth worker pay range may be shifted lower due to age based restrictions. Applicants who feel they may not meet all of the requirements & prerequisites of this job are still encouraged to apply.
