Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and highly organized 245D In-Home Training Coordinator to lead our training initiatives for individuals receiving support under the 245D licensing standards. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in curriculum development, adult education, and program management, with a strong ability to design and deliver effective training programs. This role involves coordinating in-home training sessions and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements to enhance the skills of support staff and improve service quality. Responsibilities Assist with coordinating and tracking required staff training and orientation. Help new employees complete required onboarding and training materials. Provide training support to staff on Progressive Living, Inc. policies, procedures, and expectations. Assist with training related to individual-specific needs, including routines, preferences, support plans, and health and safety procedures. Help staff understand and follow 245D requirements and company policies. Assist with scheduling training sessions and communicating training dates and expectations to staff. Maintain accurate training records and ensure documentation is completed and filed appropriately. Assist with hands-on training and shadowing for new employees. Work with supervisors and leadership to identify areas where additional staff training may be needed. Assist with preparing training materials, competency tests, and other training documentation. Help ensure staff demonstrates an understanding of their responsibilities before working independently, as directed by qualified supervisory staff. Report concerns regarding staff training, competency, or compliance to the appropriate supervisor or HR. Maintain confidentiality regarding employees and the individuals receiving services. Follow all applicable Minnesota 245D requirements, company policies, and individual service plans. Perform other training and administrative duties as assigned. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Human Services or a related field is required. Minimum of 3 years of leadership experience in a Minnesota 245D group home or residential services setting is required. Strong knowledge of 245D requirements, policies, and practices. Experience training and supporting Direct Support Staff (DSS). Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills. Ability to work independently and provide hands-on training within residential homes. Ability to maintain accurate training records and documentation. Must be able to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate professionalism. $24.00 - $28.00 per hour
