Job Description

Individual Living Specialist I (ILS I) $16.24 - $20.30 per hour Are you passionate about supporting individuals with developmental disabilities and helping them live more independent lives? Family Outreach is looking for a compassionate Individual Living Specialist I (ILS I) to help lead a team of Direct Support Professionals while making a meaningful difference in the community. What You'll Do Lead and Support Staff Provide leadership and supervision to Direct Support Professionals (DSPs), offering guidance, mentorship, and performance feedback to help staff succeed in their roles. Support Person-Centered Services Assist with the development and implementation of individual support plans that focus on each person's goals, independence, and well-being. Staff Training and Development Help coordinate staff training, and ongoing professional development while ensuring compliance with program requirements and regulations. Ensure Quality Services Monitor services to ensure they meet program standards and reflect best practices in supporting individuals with developmental disabilities. Collaborate with the Support Team Work closely with families, therapists, medical providers, and other professionals to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care for the individuals we serve. Qualifications Required Qualifications Candidates must meet the following minimum requirements: High school diploma or equivalent At least two years of related experience , preferably in human services, developmental disability services, caregiving, or service coordination Valid Montana driver's license Access to a reliable vehicle for work-related travel Ability to successfully pass a background check in accordance with program and regulatory requirements Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following experience will help candidates be successful in this role: Experience supporting individuals with developmental or intellectual disabilities Leadership, mentoring, or supervisory experience , particularly within human services or caregiving roles Experience developing or implementing individualized service or support plans Strong communication, organization, and team leadership skills Ability to collaborate with families, medical professionals, and interdisciplinary teams
