Job Description Summary:
The Career and Professional Development team within the Graduate Programs Office delivers professional development programming, individualized coaching, and mentoring to the VSB graduate student community. This role supports these initiatives by assisting with student engagement, data collection, event promotion, resource development, and providing administrative support for professional development activities.
Responsibilities:
Track job search progress and post-program outcomes data for specialized masters programs Coordinate logistics and event preparation for employer site visits, workshops, and professional development programs Encourage student participation and engagement in programs and events while fostering an ambassador mindset within the graduate student community Refresh resume samples, networking email templates, and other career-related resources for student use Prepare newsletter content featuring job postings, professional development opportunities, employer events, and resources from Handshake and professional organizations Create written and graphic content highlighting donor and program funded networking opportunities Assist with mentoring program initiatives, including mailing gifts, follow-up communication, and preparing handwritten thank-you notes
Requirements:
Villanova University graduate students from all colleges may Strong written and verbal communication skills Analytical mindset with attention to detail Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (e.g., Outlook, PowerPoint) Ability to manage sensitive data and information appropriately
