Job Description
Location This position may be performed with flexible working arrangements, including a mix of work from home and in-office work. Scooter's Coffee is headquartered in Omaha, NE. The successful candidate lives in Omaha, NE. Relocation is not available for this role. Description In this role you will design and deliver engaging learning experiences for both in-person and live virtual training. Each learning experience will result in knowledge gain, behavior change and business results. As a member of the Franchise Training team you will partner with subject matter experts (SMEs) across the business to improve the content and learning experience for each session facilitated. Facilitating learning for store managers, district managers, and franchisees, you will represent Scooter's Coffee to help ensure brand standards and consistent guest experience across our 900+ locations. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Create learning experiences through facilitating content and curriculum Build strong relationships with franchisees to gain a deep understanding of support needs and most impactful approach to enable strong sales growth Identify and integrate the most effective and innovative learning delivery practices into training, including interactive live virtual, informal, and scenario-based learning Evaluate and assess training programs, providing recommendations for improvements Partner to identify additional learning needs, solutions, and delivery methods Coordinate delivery of training with subject matter experts from departments such as field operations, national operations, finance, IT, HR, supply chain, and legal. Evaluate learning materials developed by the business to ensure the appropriate learning objectives and needs are met by the content and delivery modality Support franchise leaders in the ongoing execution and continuous improvement of guest experience Other duties as assigned Qualifications Passion for enabling all front-line leaders to deliver consistent guest experience and business results through innovative and engaging learning experiences Excellent facilitation skills (traditional and virtual) Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to communicate and work with all levels of an organization Knowledgeable application of Adult Learning Theories Proficiency in Microsoft office At least 5 years of experience facilitating learning experiences that enable business results Familiarity in Instructional Design (ADDIE Model or similar) is a plus Industry certification (e.g., ATD Training and Facilitation Certificate) is a plus Experience with a franchise-based business model is a plus Ability to travel up to 20% Job Level Competencies - P2 Possesses solid professional knowledge and expertise; assignments, projects, and programs are of limited scope and complexity; makes decisions within specific guidelines Typically supports and contributes to a professional field within a team, function, or workgroup May be fully accountable for programs and projects on a small to moderate scale Contributes as a team member, such as monitoring of timeliness and accuracy of operations May provide guidance/direction to lower-level staff Established knowledge of professional principles and skills and organization policies, practices, and procedures Applies knowledge of fundamental concepts, practices, and procedures Identifies and resolves clearly defined problems and seeks assistance in resolving more advanced problems Reviews data to identify and resolve missing or incomplete information, inconsistencies or anomalies in routine research or data Makes decisions within specific guidelines Exercises independent judgment within established procedures and/or protocols; typically communicates issues and progress weekly Disclaimer The functions and skills described here are general in nature and represent the type of work performed, but they do not constitute an exhaustive list of the duties and responsibilities performed on the job.
