Job Description
IS Trainer Archer & Greiner ("Archer"), P.C., one of the region's leading full-service law firms, is seeking an IS Trainer to join our Information Systems Department in our Voorhees, NJ office. The IS Trainer plays a key role in supporting the firm's technology initiatives by helping attorneys and staff effectively, securely, and confidently use the firm's technology systems and applications. At Archer, technology is integral to delivering exceptional client service and supporting the way our attorneys and professionals work. The IS Trainer will develop and deliver training initiatives across a variety of platforms and formats, create training materials, support software adoption and technology rollouts, assess training needs, promote cybersecurity awareness, and collaborate with teams across the firm to enhance productivity and user experience. The successful candidate will be an engaging communicator with strong technical aptitude, excellent customer service skills, and a passion for helping others build confidence and proficiency with technology in a fast-paced professional environment. Responsibilities
- Develop, coordinate, and deliver technology training programs for attorneys and staff across a variety of platforms and formats, including classroom, virtual, webinar, and one-on-one desk-side training.
- Conduct technology orientation and onboarding sessions for new attorneys and employees, including training on iManage document management, practice management, timekeeping, billing, Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, Kofax Power PDF, and other firm applications and systems.
- Assess user training needs and identify opportunities to improve technology adoption and proficiency across the firm.
- Create and maintain training materials, including course outlines, user guides, instructional resources, job aids, and other learning materials.
- Conduct engaging presentations, demonstrations, and webinars to introduce new technologies, applications, and workflows.
- Assist with the development and implementation of computer-based learning resources and multimedia training content.
- Support technology rollouts, software implementations, and ongoing user adoption initiatives.
- Promote secure technology practices and awareness of cybersecurity policies.
- Evaluate training effectiveness and identify skill gaps to recommend appropriate learning solutions.
- Maintain the quality, accuracy, and consistency of training content throughout the lifecycle of applications and systems.
- Coordinate training logistics, including preparing training environments, scheduling sessions, and ensuring necessary technology resources are available.
- Stay current with emerging technologies, training methods, and best practices to continuously enhance training effectiveness. Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience delivering technology training and user education in a law firm or professional services environment.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT applications support, technology support, or a related help desk/end-user support role.
- Demonstrated knowledge of iManage WorkSite and/or iManage Work 10, Microsoft Office, and Adobe applications, as well as experience with document management, time and billing, practice management, or other law firm/professional services applications.
- Experience developing instructor-led, virtual, and computer-based training programs and creating user guides, job aids, and other instructional materials.
- Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively train and support attorneys, paralegals, and professional staff at all levels of the organization.
- Strong customer service orientation, sound judgment, and the ability to communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and collaborate effectively in a fast-paced professional environment.
- Willingness to travel periodically to the firm's regional offices.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Instructional Design, Education, Learning Technologies, or a related field; candidates with 5 or more years of relevant job experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
Salary and Benefits:
Archer & Greiner P.C. offers a competitive salary and a comprehensive benefits package. The salary range for this position is $75,000 - $90,000,commensurate with experience.Benefits include:
