Technical Trainer - •4 day work week• - Las Vegas, NV Hamilton Porter is a nationwide recruiting firm that specializes in helping growth stage companies find full-time employees. We are actively partnered with global manufacturing company that builds highly specialized electro-mechanical products that are leveraged in industries such as banking, vending, casino / gambling, hospitality, transportation, and more. We are actively looking to hire a full-time Technical Trainer to join the team and work out of the Las Vegas HQ. This person will provide in-person and virtual training for customers along with developing training materials and curriculum. Please read on for more details! The Day to Day... Completes instructional design, course development for in person, virtual and E-learning courses and presentations Presents complex hardware/software systems effectively to a variety of learners from different operational positions Communicates with Customers/Sales to coordinate, schedule and present training events Prepares, completes and maintains course designs including; needs analysis, course design, instructor guide and presentation for both in person and virtual events Maintains and updates demonstration equipment for presentations Create and update manuals and guides for company products and systems Answers technical questions from customers via telephone or e-mail, researches problems to obtain answers if necessary Education & Qualifications... AA or BS degree in a STEM related field (electrical engineering, computer science, mechanical engineering, electronics, etc..) 2+ years of experience working in a technical training, instructional design, or teaching related role 2+ years of experience working with LMS systems and related training technologies Strong knowledge of electronics theory, troubleshooting, repair procedures Any experience working with casino gaming systems / machines is a plus Please apply today for consideration!
