Full Job Description Summary:
Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. Coordinates activities of instructors engaged in training employees or customers of industrial or commercial establishment in installation, programming, safety, maintenance, and repair of machinery and equipment by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate supervisors. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Confers with managers, instructors, or customer's representative to determine technical training needs. Assigns instructors to conduct technical training. Schedules classes, based on availability of classrooms, equipment, and instructors. Evaluates technical training packages, including outline, text, and handouts written by instructors. Assigns instructors to in-service or out-service training classes to learn new skills as needed. Monitors budget to ensure that training costs do not exceed allocated funds. Writes budget report listing training costs, such as instructors' wages and equipment costs, to justify expenditures. Attends meetings and seminars to obtain information useful to technical training staff and to inform management of technical training programs and goals. Monitors instructors during lectures and laboratory demonstrations to evaluate performance. Develops and conducts technical training programs. Friday-Monday •Rotating 10 hour shifts
