Job Description

Essential Functions :
Design and implement educational and consulting programs for child care providers, other early childhood professionals and school-age professionals with the goal of enhancing the quantity and quality early care and education available throughout the Central New York region. Write curricula; develop training materials; teach classes at our offices and community sites; provide one-to-one technical assistance and consultation; and evaluate and improve delivery of these services.
Education:
Minimum Bachelors in Early Childhood Education, Child & Family Studies or related field; must possess NYS Early Learning Trainer Credential or achieve credential within one year of initial employment
Experience:
3 years of experience working directly with young children and families in a child care or early education program; adult education experience training and/ or providing coaching and technical assistance to child care staff and providers required
Schedule :
Requires flexibility, some evening and weekend hours
Travel :
Frequent one-day travel throughout Central New York region
Job Type:

$24.96 - $29.87 per hour
