Mid-State Regional Partner Center Location :
Main Campus, 110
Elwood Davis Road, Liverpool, NY Duties :
Provide training and technical assistance related to understanding and acquisition of literacy skills within multi-tiered systems of support. Collaborate with other Specialists of the Mid-State Regional Partnership Center (RPC) and the Regional Learning Team to develop and implement action plans through engagement in the process outlined by the New York State Education Department (NYSED) Office of Special Education (OSE). Provide coaching support in school districts identified by NYSED. Maintain accurate records on training and technical assistance to assist in analyzing the effectiveness of the activities, support the needs of the region, and inform program reporting to the state. Report on activities regularly to supervisor. Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications :
Masters Degree in Literacy and/or Special Education is required. Experience providing professional learning (PL) and/or technical assistance (TA). Candidates with a strong understanding of NYS Learning Standards, Literacy Instruction, the Science of Reading, and experience implementing evidence based instructional practices preferred.
Pay:
$70,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
