Job Description
Location:
Glouster, OH Responsibilities:
- Plan and implement engaging activities and programs for youth in areas such as theater, group management and tutoring.
- Provide a safe and supportive environment for children to learn and grow.
- Educate and mentor youth on various subjects and life skills.
- Assist with homework help and academic support.
- Supervise and monitor children during activities and ensure their well-being.
- Collaborate with other staff members to create a positive and inclusive atmosphere.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, behavior, and program participation.
Experience:
- Prefers past experience working with children in a daycare, after-school program, or similar setting is preferred.
- Knowledge of theater, special education, or other relevant subjects is a plus.
- Familiarity with classroom management techniques and strategies.
- Ability to provide first aid or respond to emergencies is desirable.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Patience, empathy, and the ability to connect with youth from diverse backgrounds If you are passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of young people and have the necessary skills and experience, we encourage you to apply for this position.
