Youth Development Professional (Glouster Club)

Location:

Glouster, OH Responsibilities:

• Plan and implement engaging activities and programs for youth in areas such as theater, group management and tutoring.
• Provide a safe and supportive environment for children to learn and grow.
• Educate and mentor youth on various subjects and life skills.
• Assist with homework help and academic support.
• Supervise and monitor children during activities and ensure their well-being.
• Collaborate with other staff members to create a positive and inclusive atmosphere.
• Maintain accurate records of attendance, behavior, and program participation.

Experience:

• Prefers past experience working with children in a daycare, after-school program, or similar setting is preferred.
• Knowledge of theater, special education, or other relevant subjects is a plus.
• Familiarity with classroom management techniques and strategies.
• Ability to provide first aid or respond to emergencies is desirable.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues.
• Patience, empathy, and the ability to connect with youth from diverse backgrounds If you are passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of young people and have the necessary skills and experience, we encourage you to apply for this position.
