00/hour depending on experience The Youth Development Professional plays a crucial role in fostering the growth and development of children and adolescents. This position involves creating a safe and engaging environment where youth can thrive, learn, and develop essential life skills. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with young people and possess the skills necessary to support their educational and personal growth. Minimum age requirement is 18 year old 5 days a week preferred Responsibilities Develop and implement engaging programs that promote social, emotional, and physical development for youth. Manage classroom dynamics effectively to ensure a positive learning environment. Provide guidance and support to children in various activities, including tutoring, sports, and creative arts. Utilize behavior management techniques to address challenges and encourage positive behavior among participants. Foster relationships with students to understand their individual needs and interests. Participate in training sessions related to education and childhood development. Qualifications Experience working with youth & knowledge of youth development programs Ability to be on your feet, active and engaged with youth Ability to motivate youth, and manage behavior problems in a positive manner Ability to organize and supervise youth in a safe environment Good communication skills Strong classroom management skills with the ability to engage students effectively. A passion for youth development and a commitment to fostering a nurturing environment for all participants.
