Job Description

Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Educational Technician (Ed Tech) to support the Kettering location. The Ed Tech will provide essential support to training and educational operations by assisting instructional staff, managing classroom and training logistics, maintaining learning systems and technologies, and ensuring compliance with all DOD education policies and procedures.
Compensation:
$24.56 per hour.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide administrative and technical support to instructors and training developers. Assist in preparing, maintaining, and issuing course materials, student handouts, and training aids. Operate classroom and training technologies including multimedia systems, video teleconferencing, and instructional platforms. Monitor classroom setup, equipment functionality, and environmental conditions to ensure a positive learning environment. Assist in tracking student attendance, assessments, and course evaluations using government-provided systems. Maintain and update electronic training records and documents in accordance with government policies. Support the coordination of course schedules, room assignments, and training resource logistics. Perform inventory and maintenance checks on instructional materials and equipment. Provide customer service to instructors and students, resolving routine issues and escalating concerns as needed. Comply with all security procedures, operational guidelines, and reporting protocols.
Work Environment:
This position is located in a professional training environment and requires flexibility to support multiple course formats and schedules. Candidates must be comfortable working in government facilities and adhering to established procedures.
Requirements Required:
High school diploma or equivalent 2+ years of experience in an administrative, training, or educational support role Demonstrated proficiency using adobe to create, edit, and manage documents Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and learning management systems (LMS) Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to follow detailed instructions and work independently U.S.
Citizenship Preferred:
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Education, Instructional Technology, or a related field Prior experience supporting military or federal education programs Familiarity with DOD education and training systems Benefits MPF Federal is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
