Position Introduction:

The Sr Faculty Professional Development Specialist for Teaching within the Center for Faculty Excellence will bring both pedagogical expertise and effective communication practices to support the development of asynchronous resources for faculty by creating content for asynchronous delivery of courses that support faculty development in effective teaching practices; support faculty with customized services to meet their teaching needs; maintain online Canvas courses for faculty; assist in organizing and delivering pedagogical workshops and teaching-related events for faculty; collaborate with stakeholders across campus to support teaching enhancement and instructional interventions; promote best strategies for faculty to effectively teach in various learning environments such as face-to-face, online, blended, and flipped classrooms; promote CFE's teaching technology space and train faculty users.

Commitment to creating digitally accessible material. Ability to envision effective asynchronous online training environments with the resources available and to communicate that vision. Required Education and Experience:

Master's degree. 12 months of related experience in professional development facilitation/ training.

Equivalency/Substitution :
