Job purpose Trainer / Firearms Instructors provide training to clients in the safe usage of firearms for a variety of purposes. Teaching gun safety is the primary purpose, proficiency is a secondary purpose. Duties and responsibilities Provides instructional presentations to both individuals and class size groups. SDA classes and administration thereof Private lessons on a variety of topics Introduction to firearms classes Any other classes related to the subject matter as defined by the Director of Training Qualifications Qualifications include certified, documented training as a firearms instructor from any recognized organization that provides such certification, ie NRA, military branch, or law enforcement academy.
Qualifications include:
Must have a SDA License Instructor certification Ability to communicate effectively verbally or in written formats. Ability to produce training materials in print and electronic formats. Demeanor acceptable by the general public. Professional appearance and demeanor
Pay:
From $10.00 per hour Expected hours: 5.0 - 25.0 per week
