Make a Meaningful Impact Through Philanthropy in Healthcare About the Role As a Senior Development Specialist, you will play a key role in advancing philanthropy across annual giving, corporate sponsorships, and entry-level major gifts. You'll partner closely with Foundation leadership to cultivate, solicit, and steward donors. In addition to fundraising, you'll contribute to the operational strength of the Foundation-supporting board and committee activities, annual fund allocation processes, and community fundraising events. Key Responsibilities Assist development efforts in: Annual giving campaigns Corporate partnerships and sponsorships Entry-level major gift cultivation and solicitation Build meaningful relationships with donors, businesses, and community partners Partner with Foundation Directors and central office teams to align strategies and maximize impact Steward donors through thoughtful engagement and recognition activities Support Foundation operations, including: Annual allocation processes Board and committee meetings Third-party fundraising events Maintain accurate donor records and reporting within database systems Experience/Education/Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. College degree and/or CFRE preferred. Five (5) years professional experience in development, fundraising or a related area required. Experience or training in Microsoft Office applications required. Experience or training with donor databases such as Raisers Edge preferred. Experience in volunteer engagement and management preferred.
