Associate Eventing Trainer Cochranville, PA 3 DAYS AGO 22595175 Summary Cochranville, PA In-Person Competitive Salary 36 Months Experience No formal schooling No Commission 40.00 hours per week / Day, Weekend Shift / Full-Time Description Teach riding skills, horse management, and strategy for all three phases (dressage, cross-country, show jumping), focusing on safety, biomechanics, confidence, and developing a strong horse-rider partnership to achieve competitive goals.
Duties include:
Train riders and their horses for humane, safe, and skilled participation in the sport of eventing. Create personalized lesson plans that addresses the needs of riders at varying skill levels—from beginners to advanced competitors. Teach correct technique. Help build good riding habits. Provide support and guidance during competitions. Walk courses and assist with decision-making. Teach theoretical knowledge of each discipline of eventing. Foster a supportive and constructive atmosphere that encourages continuous improvement. Provide clear, actionable feedback to riders. Adhere to high standards of safety and instruction. Mentor riders and instill confidence, discipline, and a deep appreciation for the equestrian sport. Teach riders to cultivate both technical proficiency and a respectful partnership between rider and horse. Requires travel to local and regional horse competition events.
