Develop, implement, and oversee training programs tailored to the needs of our employees, focusing on the latest tools and technologies within the Global Planning, Engineering and Transformation (GPET) sector. This role assesses training needs, designs curriculum, and delivers engaging training sessions to enhance employee performance and confidence. Collaboration with subject matter experts to create comprehensive training materials and interactive modules. The role assesses the effectiveness of training programs and makes improvements based on feedback and performance metrics. Mentorship to junior team members and contribution to the continuous improvement of technical training practices.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Technical Training Content Design :
Lead the design and development of technical training programs for internal customers.
Technical Training Delivery:
Deliver engaging training sessions using various instructional techniques and formats to meet the Global Planning, Engineering and Transformation (GPET)organization's needs.
Collaboration:
Collaborate with subject matter experts to create training materials to align with business objectives.
Continuous Improvement:
Contribute to the continuous improvement of Global Planning, Engineering and Transformation (GPET) training programs through performance metrics and customer feedback. Enhance training content as needed to remain current with trends and technologies. Performs other duties as assigned. Additional Job Description Minimum Education Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in business, information systems, or a related field. Minimum Experience Six (6) years of significant experience in technical training or related discipline. Proven experience in designing complex technical course content. Experience mentoring and developing junior team members. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Strong understanding of IT concepts, technologies, and processes. Proficient in developing training materials and instructional design methodologies. Excellent presentation and communication skills, with the ability to engage an audience. Strong organizational and time management skills.
Preferred Skills:
Understanding of Change Management methodologies. Proficient in authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline 360, Adobe Captivate, Lectora, or Elucida. Proficient in graphic and visual design tools such as Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator), Canva, or Figma. Proficient in video and audio editing tools such as Camtasia, Adobe Premiere Pro, Audacity, or Descript. The preferred location for this hybrid position is Memphis, TN, Dallas, TX and Pittsburgh, PA. However, we will consider candidates based elsewhere within the United States (excluding Alaska, Hawaii, and U.S. territories). Candidates residing within 50 miles of a FedEx campus will be required to work on-site at a FedEx location several times per week.
US Pay Range:
$7,094.23 - $15,607.31 monthly Minimum Education Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in business, information systems, or a related field.
