The successful candidate will develop, coordinate, and deliver engaging health and safety training programs for assigned clients. This position is ideal for a knowledgeable safety professional who enjoys teaching, building client relationships, and helping organizations improve their safety culture. Training may be delivered virtually or at client locations and may include classroom instruction, equipment demonstrations, hands-on activities, and practical evaluations. The instructor must be comfortable transporting and setting up the training equipment necessary for each course. Prior instructional experience and current instructor-level safety certifications are required. Essential Responsibilities Work directly with clients to coordinate and maintain training schedules Develop and deliver safety training programs in both English and Spanish Present technical safety information using engaging, interactive adult-learning methods Conduct classroom instruction, equipment demonstrations, hands-on training, and practical evaluations Customize training content to meet client needs, workplace hazards, and learning objectives Transport, set up, demonstrate, and maintain required training equipment Accurately complete and submit attendance records, evaluations, certification documentation, and other training records Maintain professional communication with clients before, during, and after each training assignment Build strong client relationships that support long-term partnerships and continued growth Help clients strengthen their organizational safety culture through effective education and practical guidance Manage assignments independently while meeting established deadlines and quality expectations Required Skills and Experience Professional fluency in spoken and written English and Spanish Strong classroom facilitation, communication, and presentation skills High school diploma or GED required Associate or bachelor's degree preferred, but not required At least three years of experience developing, implementing, or delivering job-site safety training in the general industry, construction, oil and gas, or related industries Previous experience delivering safety training to adult learners Strong organizational, scheduling, and prioritization skills Excellent attention to detail and recordkeeping ability Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Ability to communicate technical information in a clear, practical, and relatable manner Intermediate to advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook Ability to work independently with limited supervision Ability to collaborate effectively as part of a team Ability and willingness to travel to client locations Availability for occasional overnight travel, estimated at 10% to 20% Ability to transport and use training equipment required for assigned courses Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Required Instructor Certifications Candidates must possess current instructor-level certifications in at least three of the following areas: OSHA Outreach Training Program Veriforce "PEC" Safe Land USA / H2s Clear Mobile Elevating Work Platforms Fall Protection Powered Industrial Trucks Overhead Crane Operations Qualified Rigging Veriforce PEC United Basin safety programs
