A Technical Trainer is responsible for designing and leading technical training programs for staff at an organization or company. Works with the employees to determine their technical requirements and therefore their training needs and objectives; provides presentations, workshops or technology-supported training.
$24.00 per hour + eligibility for performance-based bonuses Position Summary Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled BIM Coordinator to lead and support technical expertise across BIM software, MEPT modeling production, and project workflows. In this role, you will play a critical part in project setup, model quality assurance, content development, and team training to ensure our deliverables meet high standards of constructability and consistency.
Key Responsibilities Revit Technical Support & Training:
Provide day-to-day technical assistance to team members, utilizing support requests as opportunities for direct, one-on-one skill development and Revit training.
Project Setup & Management:
Set up new project files in Revit and perform regular model audits to enforce quality assurance, firm-wide standards, and constructability.
Modeling Production:
Collaborate with designers and clients to produce accurate MEPT modeling and documentation, applying a fundamental understanding of design and construction principles.
Content Development & Maintenance:
Drive continuous improvement by developing, updating, and maintaining Revit families, project templates, standardized workflows, and training resources. Target Software & Technical Proficiency Category Target Platforms & Skills Primary
BIM & CAD
Software Autodesk Revit, Autodesk AutoCAD (including Civil 3D) Coordination & Cloud Tools Autodesk Navisworks, Autodesk Forma (ACC), Bluebeam Core Domain Knowledge Basic Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, & Technology (MEPT) Design Project Management Systems Procore, Newforma, or similar industry software Qualifications Hands-on experience with BIM coordination and MEPT modeling in an AEC environment. Strong working knowledge of Autodesk software, model health auditing, and family creation. Excellent communication skills for troubleshooting, technical support, and team training. Ability to work on-site in Dallas, TX 75251 four days per week.
