Base compensation plus performance-based commissions, depending on experience and engagement structure About the Opportunity We are seeking an entrepreneurial Business Development and Sales Professional to generate revenue and build strategic relationships across a growing portfolio of marine clean tech, clean-energy, software, automation, ai and boating platforms. This individual will represent and sell opportunities across: Sea Watts — Electric boating discovery, infrastructure, events and industry partnerships ZEMA — Zero Emission Marine Accelerator — Corporate memberships, sponsorships and ecosystem partnerships Charged Marine — Market development, consulting, infrastructure and commercialization services This is an ideal role for a driven sales professional who enjoys developing new markets, creating partnerships and working at the intersection of boating, transportation, technology and clean energy. Key Responsibilities Develop and manage a qualified sales pipeline across all company platforms. Sell memberships, sponsorships, advertising packages, premium listings and founding partnerships. Identify consulting and market-development opportunities for Charged Marine. Recruit marine manufacturers, dealers, marinas, boat clubs, charter operators, rental companies, infrastructure providers and clean-energy companies. Secure sponsors and exhibitors for electric boating events, demonstrations, conferences and educational programs. Develop partnerships with OEMs, ports, marinas, utilities, government agencies and industry organizations. Conduct outbound outreach through email, phone, LinkedIn, conferences and industry referrals. Prepare proposals, presentations, partnership packages and follow-up materials. Maintain accurate records of prospects, conversations, proposals and sales activity. Coordinate with leadership, marketing and event teams to ensure successful delivery of sold programs. Represent the brands at boat shows, clean-energy conferences, industry meetings and networking events. Identify new revenue opportunities and recommend partnership models that support long-term growth. Priority Sales Categories ZEMA corporate memberships Sea Watts founding partnerships and premium listings Event sponsorships and exhibitor packages Electric boat demonstrations and branded activations OEM and marina partnerships Market-development and consulting engagements Charging and marina-electrification opportunities Boat club, charter and rental partnerships Advertising, content and digital promotional packages Ideal Candidate Three or more years of experience in business development, partnerships, sponsorship sales or consultative sales Proven ability to prospect, build relationships and close business Strong written, verbal and presentation skills Comfortable selling multiple products and partnership opportunities Self-directed, organized and accountable for measurable results Able to communicate effectively with executives, entrepreneurs, government representatives and technical stakeholders Comfortable working in an early-stage, fast-moving environment Willing to travel for conferences, boat shows, demonstrations and client meetings Experience using CRM, email outreach and professional networking platforms Preferred Experience Experience or established relationships in one or more of the following sectors is highly desirable: Recreational or commercial marine Electric boats and marine propulsion Marinas, boat clubs, charters or rentals Electric-vehicle charging infrastructure Renewable energy and distributed energy Ports and waterfront transportation Clean technology and sustainability Sponsorships, conferences and experiential marketing What Success Looks Like The successful candidate will: Build a consistent and well-documented sales pipeline Generate qualified introductions and partnership meetings Convert prospects into members, sponsors, partners and clients Increase recurring revenue across the portfolio Expand relationships throughout the marine and clean-energy industries Help establish the organization as a leading commercial and partnership platform for the future of boating Why Join Us?
