PERSONAL CARE ATTENDANT PROGRAM FUNCTIONAL SKILLS TRAINER
Hybrid schedule - Hiring bonus! Seeking a full-time (37.5 hours/week) PCA Program Functional Skills Trainer. The PCA FST has a hybrid schedule (minimum 2 days in office). Responsibilities include assisting with implementation of the consumer directed Personal Care Attendant service delivery model by conducting home visits and assessing, training, and supporting consumers enrolled in the Personal Care Attendant (PCA) program. Service area includes Central Ma and Northern Central MA.Qualifications:
High School diploma required, bilingual preferred. Experience in human services, preferably with the elderly and/or persons with disabilities or transferable skills. Desire and commitment to working with elders and/or persons with disabilities required. Use of a reliable vehicle including active vehicle insurance with a current license to drive required. Must have moderate physical ability. Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 20 pounds. Ability to climb stairs. Ability to keep accurate records, document clearly, and to communicate effectively verbally and in writing. Computer proficiency, including experience with Microsoft Office products (Word and Outlook).Ability to multi-task and establish priorities in a fast-paced environment.Compensation and Benefits:
. A staged hiring bonus will be awarded in 2 parts, half at 120 Days, and half at 1 year of active employment. The bonus for this position is $1,000.- No holidays or on-call
