We are a growing leader in the low voltage electrical industry, delivering high-quality solutions in life safety and communications systems. Our specialties include nurse call systems, school critical communications, audio/visual systems, and fire/security systems installation and support.
Position Overview:
The Systems Training Specialist is responsible for customer education, training, and long-term user adoption. This role partners with healthcare and education clients to develop engaging learning experiences, deliver instructor-led and virtual training, create educational resources, and support successful system adoption.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Education & Implementation Support
  • Lead customer education during new system implementations and upgrades.
  • Coordinate training activities before, during, and after system go-live.
  • Conduct workflow assessments to tailor training to customer needs.
  • Support implementation teams to ensure a successful transition and user readiness. Training & Education Delivery
  • Design and deliver instructor-led, virtual, one-on-one, and train-the-trainer programs.
  • Develop customized learning plans for end users, administrators, IT, facilities, and leadership.
  • Evaluate training effectiveness and continuously improve curriculum.
  • Provide refresher training and onboarding for new client personnel. Digital Learning & Content Development
  • Collaborate to develop and maintain a digital training library including videos, quick-reference guides, presentations, workflow diagrams, and e-learning modules.
  • Create reusable instructional templates and standardized onboarding materials.
  • Maintain current documentation reflecting software and system updates. Customer Success & Ongoing Education
  • Build trusted relationships through proactive education and coaching.
  • Monitor user adoption and recommend additional training opportunities.
  • Serve as the primary resource for customer education throughout the client lifecycle. Internal Collaboration
  • Partner with Sales, Operations, Engineering, and Service teams to coordinate training plans.
  • Share customer feedback to improve products, processes, and educational materials.
Qualifications:
Required
  • 3+ years of experience in corporate training, customer education, instructional design, customer success, healthcare education, or related field.
  • Outstanding presentation, communication, and facilitation skills.
  • Experience creating professional training materials.
  • Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Comfortable presenting to and training mixed audiences
  • end users, clinical staff, administrators, IT staff, and leadership
  • Valid California driver's license with a clean driving record and willingness to travel throughout Northern California. Preferred
  • Experience with digital content creation tools (video recording/editing, screen capture, or instructional design platforms)
  • Familiarity with low voltage systems (nurse call, critical communications, fire alarm, A/V, or similar)
  • Clinical certification or licensure (e.
g., RN) for candidates primarily supporting healthcare implementations
Work Environment:
  • Office environment, temperature-controlled
Work Location:
Northern California, with visits to client sites
  • Physical demands: Repetitive movement of hands and fingers, ability to lift up to 25-50 lbs.
