Job Description
Description Job Responsibilities Coordinates customer scheduling through outbound calls, partners with other departments to triage calls and schedule changes and provides frontline telephone technical support through the Corporate Technical Service Call Center. Answers basic technical questions on equipment installation, product application, and cleaning and sanitation problems. Performs basic programming and chemical calibrations on automated controllers. Develops basic knowledge of pool pumps, filters, and circulation systems. Develops basic technical knowledge of available dispensing equipment and dishmachine parts to make part recommendations and provide part numbers. Communicates with Technical Service staff on part number or equipment part number and specification changes. Develops basic knowledge of proprietary and commercially available software systems. Performs other duties as assigned by lead, supervisor, or manager. Has two-year degree, typically in a related field. Has one or more years of work experience in a mechanical/electrical trade or technical service call center. Additional Skills & Qualifications Training & Development
- Extensive onboarding and training program.
- Approximately 2.5 to 3 months of product and systems training.
- Training includes: o Salesforce o Call management systems o Internal processes o products and equipment
- Team is part of a pilot program that could be expanded across the broader organization.
- New hires may eventually become leaders and subject matter experts as the program matures. Customer & Call Environment
- Supports Institutional Division customers.
- Customers are external clients of all sizes.
- Team works within a call queue environment.
- Call volumes vary throughout the day.
- Current team handles roughly one-third to one-half of institutional technical support call volume.
- Initial focus for this new team is outbound appointment coordination rather than inbound technical support.
