Job Description

Factory Trainer (Singapore/Kuala Lumpur)
Job Title:
Factory Trainer Working Location:
Puchong, Selangor (Based at a technology hub in Bandar Puteri Puchong)
Contract Type:
Permanent Work Schedule:
Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 6pm
Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and deliver technical training programs for engineering staff
  • Conduct classroom, workshop, and hands-on practical training sessions
  • Prepare training materials, SOPs, manuals, presentations, and assessment tools
  • Evaluate trainee performance and provide coaching/support
  • Update training modules based on new technologies, equipment, and industry standards
  • Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to identify skill gaps
  • Maintain training records, certifications, and compliance documentation
  • Support onboarding and competency development initiatives
  • Ensure safety and quality standards are integrated into all training activities
Requirements:
  • Possess a recognized degree in Electrical / Electronic / Computer / Telecommunication Engineering or equivalent
  • 3 to 5 years of technical engineering trainer experience
  • Good communication and written skills in English is compulsory
  • Foreign language skills such as Spanish, Italian, or Chinese Mandarin are an advantage
  • Frequent travel overseas is required
  • Domain expertise including a solid understanding of Building Automation Systems BAS, plant control logic, and hardware architectures for automation devices area controllers and IO modules
  • Knowledge of technical support and technical testing for hardware and software products
  • Knowledge of Niagara Framework, Building Automation, Analytics Technologies, and Web technologies
  • Knowledge of instrumentation sensors and field communication protocols e.g. Modbus, BACnet, etc.
  • Programming language knowledge such as C++, Python is an advantage
  • Strong TCP/IP networking and protocols understanding
