Novant Health Urgent Cares is currently seeking a Regional Clinical Trainer to join our team. The Regional Clinical Trainer is responsible for developing and delivering training programs for all new and existing urgent care staff. The Regional Clinical Trainer will work collaboratively to identify training needs/priorities through skill assessments, facilitate training curricula, and establish metrics to evaluate training program effectiveness.
Essential Functions:
Modify and develop curricula to standardize training for new and existing urgent care front and back staff to include written, classroom, video, hands on and presentation content. Train new hires and provide ongoing education for existing front and back staff on best practices and necessary skills for clinical roles. Serve as a liaison among Center Managers, Staff, Regional Operations Directors, and Director of Training in order to continue providing quality training programs while adapting to the needs of the business and healthcare regulations. Maintain awareness and understanding of key information system(s) functionality and workflow updates and disseminate relevant information, new system updates, and operational processes to staff. Utilize data from skills-based assessments to inform training practices for all staff. Other duties as assigned. Do You Have What It Takes? A good candidate will bring with them: Medical Assistant, LPN, Rad Tech, or RN License High school diploma or equivalent General knowledge of medical ethics and confidentiality Computer skills Required to travel throughout assigned region to conduct training Effective verbal and written communication skills Must have a valid driver's license and acceptable driving record An ideal candidate would also have: SC RN License Completion of a post-secondary program 2 years of experience as an educator knowledge of basic medical terminology powered by
