Maynardville, TN (On-site)
Pay Range :
$65,000•78,000
Travel Required :
Ability and willingness to travel as needed, including overnight travel. Position Summary CSI of the Southeast is seeking an experienced Technical Trainer•Commercial Low Voltage Systems who is passionate about developing people and building technical expertise. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys teaching, coaching, and mentoring technicians while helping them succeed in the field. As our Technical Trainer, you will develop and deliver hands-on and classroom training for new and existing field technicians on commercial low-voltage and specialized communication systems, including display boards, audio systems, POS systems, cameras, networking, structured cabling, and related technologies. You will also create training materials, guides, demonstrations, and hands-on exercises covering installation, configuration, troubleshooting, maintenance, repair, and customer service. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Deliver classroom, hands-on, and field training to new and existing technicians. Conduct ride-alongs, field assessments, and audits to evaluate technical skills, safety, quality, and customer service. Coach technicians on installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, maintenance, and best practices. Ensure work meets manufacturer specifications, industry standards, and CSI quality expectations. Support new-hire onboarding and field orientation. Develop and maintain training materials, job aids, videos, and SOPs. Partner with Operations to improve technician performance, quality, and consistency. Maintain training records and progress reports. Stay current on new products, technologies, and manufacturer requirements. Serve as a technical resource for complex installation and troubleshooting issues. Promote a positive, team-oriented culture and model CSI's core values. Required Qualifications Minimum 3 years of experience in commercial low voltage, electrical, HVAC, telecommunications, or a related technical field. Previous experience training, mentoring, or leading field technicians strongly preferred. Working knowledge of technical systems, equipment installation, troubleshooting, and repair. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to adapt training methods to different learning styles and experience levels. Ability to develop and use training materials, demonstrations, and hands-on instruction. Proficient with Microsoft Office and basic computer applications. Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record. Ability to travel throughout the United States, including overnight stays. Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check. Preferred Qualifications Prior experience delivering hands-on and classroom-based technical training to technicians. Experience creating technical training materials or conducting classroom instruction. Physical Requirements Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds. Ability to climb ladders and work on lifts. Ability to crawl, kneel, bend, stoop, and work in confined spaces. Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions. Frequent standing and walking on active construction sites.

$65,000.00•$78,000.00 per year
