Job Description

About Code One Safety For over 14 years, Code One Safety has been passionate about equipping individuals and organizations with lifesaving skills, equipment and confidence. As a leading provider of CPR, AED and First Aid training, our mission is to save lives through education, empowerment and preparedness. Position Overview Code One Safety is currently seeking a Training Specialist that not only brings a positive experience to our students through lifesaving training but will also assist in managing the equipment necessary to provide them with the hands-on skills they need.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Teach lifesaving courses such as, but not limited to, CPR, AED and First Aid, both at our office and at our client's location (AHA, ARC, HSI, AVIRT)
  • Deliver and install AED units, accessories and training equipment
  • Mentor new instructors
  • Represent Code One Safety as a brand Ambassador
  • Complete required paperwork accurately and on time
  • Communicate effectively with clients, team members and leadership
  • Travel throughout the region for classes, inspections, installations and events
Qualifications:
  • Passion for lifesaving education and Code One Safety's mission
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Active AHA BLS Instructor certification (Preferred)
  • Minimum one year of teaching, training or coaching experience (Preferred)
  • Ability to travel on short notice and stay overnight as needed
  • Safe driving record for the past three years
  • Flexible schedule, must be available Tuesday- Saturday as needed
Work Schedule:
Training Specialist is subject to work anytime as scheduled Tuesday -Saturday each week based on the assignments issued to him/her by the Operations Manager. Forty (40) hours per week are guaranteed as part of this full-time position. Starting and ending hours can vary day-to-day depending on the location and times of field assignments.
