Job Description

Job Summary:
The Learning and Development Analyst partners with internal stakeholders and subject matter experts (SMEs) to analyze training requests, research content, and define learning strategies that align with organizational objectives. Following Orgill's development processes, this role independently manages the initial phases of project scoping to ensure accurate, robust educational materials for employees. The position requires close collaboration across all levels of operations, leadership, and program management to support ongoing internal talent development.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Experience with one or more of the following preferred: sales, distribution, wholesale distribution or hardware/home improvement industry Must have the ability to travel frequently (estimated up to 25% of the job). Identifies project objectives & constraints. Ensures cultural fit of all projects. Identifies any potential roadblocks that could affect project completion. Research learner needs and styles. Identify key problems or knowledge gaps. Utilizes SME interview questions template. Create a list of topics and subtopics that need to be taught in order to bridge the learning deficit. Write a learning objective for each topic. Research and vet existing resources and content that can be used or enhanced.

Minimum Job Qualifications:
Knowledge of basic consulting skills and approaches Proficiency in presentation skills utilizing Google Slides/PowerPoint/Canva Project management certification preferred Excellent written and oral communication skills, including the ability to effectively convey technical information to non-technical learners Excellent computer knowledge. Proficient in Google Products and MS Office programs including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel Must have the ability to read and write
English Education Required:
