We are seeking our next Full-Time Coordinator - Panhandle Pbs - Membership/Development who will be all-in on our mission and who will perform a variety of clerical and administrative tasks to support the operations of the assigned program/department and facilitate smooth office procedures.
DESCRIPTION
The Panhandle PBS Membership/Development Coordinator will serve as the primary marketing facilitator of membership growth, engagement and support of Panhandle PBS while collaborating with all members of the team to enhance the mission of the organization as a leader of local content distribution
EDUCATION
Required:
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Communications, Public Relations, Marketing or related field.
Preferred:
EXPERIENCE
Required:
Three (3) years of experience in fundraising, business, marketing, public relations, advertising or community relations.
Preferred:
Previous non-profit, public and/or customer relations and marketing experience. Database experience and management knowledge. Maintain the stations membership retention and growth initiatives including national and local programs to serve current members. Source new fundraising ideas. Analyze statistics and trends to provide recommendations for growth in membership and fundraising. Manage PBS Digital Communications Coordinator to develop and execute a social media program. Develop a working knowledge of technical support and enhancements of membership database software and use relevant reporting tools to report as needed to Amarillo College, PBS, CPB, etc. Work with General Manager on station collaboration with staff, station advisory council members and community leaders to develop, plan and execute fundraising opportunities. Work with the Director of Development and Community Engagement in procuring grant funding and underwriting for station programming and community engagement opportunities. Perform other work-related duties as required.
