Position Summary:
The EAP Trainer is responsible for presenting training topics that support employee mental health, workplace well-being, and resilience. This role supports the goals of the Employee Assistance Program by equipping employees and managers with the skills, knowledge, and resources to navigate stress, conflict, and personal challenges effectively. We have 4 trainings on "Creating a
Positive Experience:
Barriers & Models for Customer Service" scheduled for July 30th & July 31st from 9:00 am to 10:00 am & 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm CT. This is a contractual position, and we may be able to offer additional training opportunities in the future.
Key Responsibilities:
Presenting EAP-related training sessions, workshops, and webinars for employees and leadership (e.g., stress management, burnout prevention, conflict resolution, mental health awareness). Customize training content to meet the unique needs of different departments or roles. Support the implementation of EAP initiatives by aligning training content with broader organizational well-being goals. Evaluate program effectiveness through feedback, participation rates, and post-training assessments. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of best practices in employee wellness, behavioral health, and EAP services.
Qualifications:
Required:
Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Human Resources, Counseling, Organizational Development, or related field. Experience delivering training or workshops in a corporate or clinical setting. Knowledge of mental health, work-life balance, and organizational psychology. Strong presentation and facilitation skills (in-person and virtual).
Preferred:
Master's degree or certification in mental health, counseling, or training & development. Experience working directly with EAP services. Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and digital training platforms. Certified trainer in programs like Mental Health First Aid, resilience training, etc. is preferred.
