Job Description

Basic Purpose The Training Coordinator is responsible for coordinating, facilitating, and tracking employee training programs across the organization to ensure compliance with company requirements and support employee development. This position maintains the company training matrix, training records, and related documentation, ensuring records are accurate, complete, and audit-ready. The Training Coordinator works closely with department leaders and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to coordinate training activities, maintain and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), support document translations, and ensure employees have access to the training and resources needed to perform their jobs safely, effectively, and consistently.
Responsibilities:
Training Coordination Maintain and update the company training matrix to accurately reflect employee training and qualification status. Coordinate and schedule employee training sessions, orientations, and refresher training. Facilitate training sessions and assist with training logistics, materials, and attendance tracking. Work with department managers and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to identify training needs and coordinate training activities. Monitor training completion and follow up on overdue training requirements. Assist in the development and distribution of training materials. Training Records Management Maintain accurate employee training records and databases. Ensure training sign-in sheets, assessments, certifications, and qualification records are collected and properly filed. Scan and electronically maintain training records to support internal, customer, and regulatory audits. Conduct routine reviews of training records to ensure accuracy and completeness. Generate training status reports as requested by management. SOP and Document Management Assist with the maintenance and organization of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and training documents. Coordinate periodic reviews and updates of SOPs with department personnel. Ensure current versions of SOPs and training materials are available to employees. Assist with document control activities, including revision tracking and document distribution. Coordinate the translation of SOPs and training materials as needed. Compliance Support Support company compliance initiatives by ensuring training documentation is organized and audit-ready. Assist departments during internal and external audits related to training and documentation. Help identify opportunities to improve training processes and record-keeping practices. Additional duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Associate degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Education, or a related field preferred. 1-3 years of experience in training coordination, administration, human resources, document control, or a related support role preferred. Experience maintaining records, databases, or administrative documentation preferred.
