Job Description

Job Summary We're looking for a Training and Compliance Specialist to join our contract electronics manufacturing team in American Fork, UT — earning $25.00/hour on a four-day workweek. This role is the heartbeat of our workforce development program, responsible for building the technical knowledge and compliance readiness that keeps our production floor running at its best. What You'll Do Develop, deliver, and maintain employee training programs covering IPC standards, ESD practices, workmanship requirements, and internal manufacturing procedures Serve as the primary instructor for IPC-A-610, IPC/WHMA-A-620, and
J-STD-001
awareness training — including hands-on skills sessions for electronic assembly, soldering, inspection, and cable/wire harness assembly Conduct new hire onboarding and job-specific qualification training to get employees production-ready Administer competency assessments and practical evaluations to verify employee proficiency and maintain up-to-date certification records Coordinate compliance training for
ITAR, CMMC
cybersecurity requirements, and Quality Management System (QMS) procedures Perform floor observations and workstation assessments to evaluate training effectiveness and identify recurring skill gaps Partner with Production, Quality, Engineering, and HR to align training programs with operational needs and customer requirements Create and maintain training materials including presentations, videos, visual aids, and assessments What You Bring Required Solid working knowledge of IPC-A-610, IPC/WHMA-A-620, and
J-STD-001
standards Hands-on experience in electronics manufacturing — you understand what happens on the production floor Demonstrated ability to develop and deliver classroom, hands-on, and video-based training Strong verbal and written communication skills, including comfort presenting to groups at all levels Proficiency with Microsoft Office and electronic recordkeeping systems Preferred Experience administering training within an ITAR-regulated or CMMC-compliant environment Familiarity with Quality Management System (QMS) documentation and training record requirements IPC Certified Trainer (CIT) status or experience as a Certified IPC Specialist Schedule & Shift Monday through Thursday, 6:00 AM - 4:00 PM Enjoy a built-in three-day weekend every week. Pay & Compensation $25.00 per hour
