A Technical Trainer is responsible for designing and leading technical training programs for staff at an organization or company. Works with the employees to determine their technical requirements and therefore their training needs and objectives; provides presentations, workshops or technology-supported training.
Amyx is seeking a Training Specialist to join our Defense Logistics Agency client remotely.
Responsibilities:
Develops and provides IT and end user training on computer hardware and application software. Conducts the research necessary to develop and revise training courses and prepares appropriate training catalogs. Prepares all instructor materials (course outline, background material, and training aids). Prepares all student materials (course manuals, workbooks, handouts, completion certificates, and course critique forms). Trains personnel by conducting formal classroom courses, workshops, and seminars Must have the ability to communicate accurate information
Qualifications:
Required Five (5) years relevant experience Experience in information systems development, training, or related fields. Relevant Information Technology Instructor/Trainer certification from a nationally recognized technical authority. Must possess IT-II Non-Critical Sensitive security clearance or Tier 3 (T3)
