Job Description
Position Summary The Advisor Development Specialist plays a critical role in accelerating the success of new financial advisors by providing coaching, accountability, performance analysis, and development support. This individual partners closely with advisors during their early career stages to help them build productive habits, achieve key business milestones, and establish a foundation for long-term growth. Through one-on-one coaching, performance tracking, board of reviews, and data-driven insights, the Advisor Development Specialist helps advisors maximize efficiency, improve production, and strengthen client acquisition efforts. Key Responsibilities Advisor Coaching & Development
- Meet regularly with new advisors to establish goals, business plans, and growth strategies.
- Provide coaching on prospecting, networking, client acquisition, referral generation, and business development.
- Hold advisors accountable to activity goals, production targets, and development milestones.
- Support advisors in building effective business practices and achieving early career success.
- Partner with leadership to identify opportunities for advisor growth and performance improvement. Performance Analysis & Reporting
- Monitor and analyze advisor activity, production, and performance metrics.
- Pull and evaluate reports to identify trends, efficiencies, and areas for improvement.
- Develop recommendations based on data to improve advisor productivity and outcomes.
- Create and maintain performance dashboards and reporting tools for leadership review. Board of Reviews & Program Management
- Create professional presentations for Board of Reviews, leadership meetings, and development programs.
- Prepare advisor performance summaries, production reports, and development updates.
- Maintain development resources, templates, and reporting materials.
- Support training initiatives, workshops, and advisor development programs. Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred in Business, Leadership, Training & Development, or related field.
- Experience in coaching, training, sales development, financial services, or performance management preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building abilities.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. Success Measures
