The Opportunity Ironclad Defense Works is seeking a Senior Joint Intelligence, Surveillance, Reconnaissance & Awareness (JISR&A) Capability Development SME to support NATO Allied Command Transformation in Norfolk, Virginia. This position will support development and integration of
NATO JISR&A
capabilities, with particular emphasis on multi-source and multi-domain intelligence fusion and integration. The successful candidate will bring Joint or Strategic-level intelligence experience, capability-development expertise, senior-level briefing skills, and familiarity with multinational military organizations. Key Responsibilities Support development of JISR&A capability products across
DOTMLPFI.
Provide methodological and analytical expertise for multi-source and multi-domain intelligence fusion. Support JISR and related Beacon projects. Elicit, analyze, evaluate, and trace operational, system, capability, and interoperability requirements. Support JISR&A doctrine, policy, CONOPS, and courses of action. Coordinate capability development across
DOTMLPFI.
Engage NATO Agencies, national militaries, academia, and Centers of Excellence. Support JISR&A program-management activities and capability validation. Capture lessons learned and best practices. Support senior JISR&A leadership and multinational engagements. Required Qualifications Master's degree or equivalent military-college qualification in engineering, information systems, aeronautics, Operations Research, project management, business administration, or related field; or bachelor's degree plus five years of relevant experience. At least three years of recent senior-leader briefing experience. At least five years of operational intelligence fusion and integration experience within the past 12 years. Experience must include multi-source or multi-domain intelligence at Joint or Strategic-level staff, and/or military effects Planning and Command and Control. Relevant backgrounds may include J2/J23 or J5/J25 experience in NATO or national headquarters. At least two years of program/project-management experience in military capability development. At least two years of multinational or NATO experience. Preferred Qualifications
NATO JISR
experience. Joint intelligence fusion-center experience. Multi-domain intelligence integration. Joint or strategic headquarters experience. NATO capability-development or requirements-management experience. Clearance This position requires an active National SECRET (or higher) security clearance from the U.S. or a NATO member nation. Applicants who do not possess the clearance specified above cannot be considered at this time. Compensation Compensation for this position ranges from $125,000 - $150,000 annually. Final salary will be based on factors such as experience, education, skills, qualifications, location, contract requirements, and overall affordability.
