Job Description

Dog Daycare Front Desk Attendant Dogtopia of Birmingham-Parkside Birmingham, AL $14/hr In-person position. 15-20 hrs/wk Weekends, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays required. Dogtopia, the industry leader in dog daycare, overnight, and spa services has an immediate opening for an energetic, organized, customer service and solutions-minded individual to join our team as a Front Desk Attendant. The focus of this job is making connections with Pet Parents and their pups! This is a high energy, active position where you will spend much of your day on your feet. This person should love dogs, and upon successful completion of training, you can bring your dog to work with you!

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES OF FRONT DESK
Greet everyone who walks in or out of Dogtopia with an energetic and enthusiastic attitude! Answer Pet Parent questions over the phone, in person, via text and email Manage all transactions, scheduling and paperwork Manage all customer check-in/check-out (daycare, boarding, spa) Maintain a clean, organized lobby and front desk, as well as general ambiance of entire daycare Be knowledgeable on all services and pricing; share information about our daycare enrollment with Pet Parents Create and maintain digital customer files daily Be trained and available to help with dog-focused duties elsewhere in the daycare Establish Dogtopia as the gold standard in striving for the highest possible customer satisfaction ratings with every single interaction Providing excellent customer service Knowing and caring for all dogs as if they were a part of your family Operational Excellence in a Clean and Safe Environment To ensure our employees and dogs are always in a safe and clean environment, we take great pride in working as a team to achieve operational excellence. As a Front Desk Attendant at Dogtopia, you are responsible for working closely with our team and dog family in creating a safe and fun environment while setting the highest standards and satisfaction of our customers.

From $14.00 per hour Application Question(s): This role is for someone with a passion for dogs! Please tell us a little bit about your history with dogs and why this role is a good fit for you. Our brand requires a minimum age requirement of 18. Are you 18 or older? This position requires working Saturdays 9-5, Sundays from 3:00-6:15pm, and Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays PMs consistently, does this align with your schedule?
