Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Stylist Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will support our professional stylists in providing exceptional care and grooming services for pets. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animals, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to handle various tasks in a fast-paced environment. This position requires physical stamina and a love for working with pets of all sizes. Responsibilities Assist stylists in grooming procedures, including bathing, drying, and brushing pets. Provide animal restraint during grooming sessions to ensure safety for both pets and staff. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including the grooming area and equipment. Handle heavy lifting as needed when moving pets or equipment. Interact with clients and be comfortable answering calls to provide excellent customer service and answer any questions regarding services. Support with kennel duties. Participate in training sessions related to pet care techniques and customer service best practices. Skills Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by the job duties. Familiarity with kennel operations and care is a plus. Strong customer service skills to effectively communicate with pet owners. Previous experience in dog training or veterinary settings is advantageous but not required. A genuine love for animals and a commitment to their well-being.
