Job Description

Overview Join our team as a Doggie Daycare Attendant and become a vital part of creating a fun, safe environment for dogs of all sizes and temperaments. In this role, you'll be responsible for supervising playgroups, ensuring proper animal handling, and providing exceptional care that keeps our daycare participants safe. Responsibilities Supervise daily play sessions, ensuring dogs interact safely and positively with each other. Assist with dog training activities to promote good behavior and social skills. Handle dogs using proper restraint techniques to ensure safety during play and care routines. Maintain cleanliness of the facility, including grooming areas, kennels, and common spaces. Monitor dogs for signs of stress or illness, reporting any concerns to seasoned staff as needed. Provide pet sitting services for clients' dogs when required, ensuring personalized attention. Support kennel technicians with animal care tasks such as feeding, administering medications, or basic grooming. Qualifications Prior experience in dog handling or animal care is highly encouraged Experience in a doggie daycare setting is required minimum of 6 months Knowledge of some dog training techniques and procedures enhances your ability to excel in this role. Strong animal handling skills with an understanding of animal restraint methods. Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary to assist with large or energetic dogs. Excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with pet owners and team members.
