Our brand-new, 10,000+ sq. ft. facility opened in February 2025 and is designed to provide a safe, engaging, and comfortable environment for our furry guests. We offer all-day group play, overnight boarding, and grooming services.

Position:

Overnight Kennel Technician We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Overnight Kennel Technician to help care for our boarding dogs and maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary facility during overnight hours. This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy working with animals, are comfortable working independently, and take pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and care. Key Responsibilities Monitoring the health, safety, and well-being of boarding dogs throughout the night Conducting routine facility walkthroughs to ensure all animals are secure and comfortable Feeding dogs according to provided schedules and instructions Administering medications as directed and documenting treatments Cleaning and sanitizing kennels, suites, crates, and common areas Deep cleaning play areas, floors, walls, and facility equipment Washing, drying, folding, and organizing laundry, including bedding and towels Removing waste and maintaining a clean, odor-free environment Restocking cleaning supplies, food, and facility necessities as needed Reporting any health concerns, injuries, behavioral changes, or facility maintenance issues to management Following all Dog Den safety, sanitation, and animal handling procedures Assisting with morning preparation to ensure the facility is clean and ready for daily operations Requirements Minimum of 1 year of experience handling dogs in a professional or personal setting Must reside within 10 miles of the facility Comfortable and confident working with dogs of all sizes, breeds, and temperaments Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Capable of standing, walking, bending, lifting, and performing physical cleaning tasks throughout the shift Strong work ethic, reliability, and punctuality Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Preferred Qualifications Previous kennel, boarding, veterinary, shelter, or animal care experience Experience administering medications to dogs Familiarity with cleaning and sanitation procedures in an animal care environment
