Just as our Salon is family owned for almost 20 years, our team of groomers are a FAMILY that supports each other. Everyone on our team agrees that there isn't anywhere else they would want to groom besides our special salon, that sincerely advocates for these animals & where everyone genuinely supports each other. This is one reason why we have a very high retention rate with our Groomers. All of our dogs/cats are taken by appointment. You will make your own schedule & there is zero pressure to rush through haircuts. Our atmosphere is relaxed & friendly. Because of our loving & compassionate philosophy & amazing owners & staff, we have a very high retention rate with our customers. Here is what a day in the life of a Groomer would look like: Complete high-quality grooms (e.g. bathing, brushing, blow drying, dematting, cutting or trimming hair/ fur, gland expression, teeth brushing, nail clipping and grinding, & other specialty services), using our philosophy of love & compassion. Provide pet parents with an exceptional guest experience Always treat all pets & pet parents with kindness & respect Speak authentically about products & services offered Share product knowledge and suggestions to fit customer needs & promote pet health Maintain a clean, safe work area Actively engage pet parents to continue to grow the business We will teach you a lot but what we need you to already have: Must be 18 years or older At least 6 months professional grooming experience required Grooming tools & equipment in good working condition Passion for dog grooming & the well-being of pets Knowledgeable in breed standard grooms Skills in scissoring, general cleaning, nail trimming, styling, & all other pet grooming functions Willingness to be educated about the products & services offered Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business, which will require some weekend shifts Grooming certification preferred

Physical Demands:

Majority of day is spent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling and climbing all day Must be able to lift 50+ pounds Must be comfortable working with a wide variety of animals including small and large dogs Must be able to work around pet hair & dander Communicate with clients in a friendly, upbeat manner
