Job Overview Join our dynamic pet care team as a Dog Bather, where your passion for animals and attention to detail will help ensure every dog leaves looking and feeling their best! In this energetic role, you will be responsible for providing professional grooming services, maintaining a clean and safe environment, and delivering exceptional customer service to pet owners. Your expertise will contribute to the overall well-being and happiness of our furry clients, making each grooming session a positive experience for both dogs and their owners. Responsibilities Bathe, dry, brush. Safely handle dogs of various sizes and temperaments using love and kindness along with lots of patience. Maintain cleanliness of bathing stations, tools, and equipment to ensure a hygienic environment Assist with pet care tasks such as nail trimming, ear cleaning, and coat brushing Communicate effectively with co workers. Monitor dogs during grooming for signs of stress or health issues, escalating concerns as needed Support team members with kennel cleaning, animal handling, and other duties to promote a smooth workflow Requirements Previous experience in pet grooming or animal handling is highly preferred Knowledge of dog training techniques and veterinary procedures is a plus Animal handling skills. Familiarity with pet grooming tools, techniques, and safety protocols Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) regularly throughout the workday Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, positive attitude toward clients and their pets Prior experience in veterinary technician or assistant roles, or with equine or other animal care backgrounds, is advantageous Join us in creating a caring environment where pets are pampered and owners feel confident in our expert services.
