The ideal candidate will be passionate about animal care and grooming, providing top-notch services to our furry clients. Duties Perform grooming services such as bathing, brushing, clipping, and styling pets' coats Trim pets' nails, clean ears, and provide other grooming services as needed Handle pets with care and ensure their safety and comfort throughout the grooming process Communicate effectively with pet owners to understand their preferences and requests Maintain a clean and organized grooming area Monitor pets for health issues or abnormalities and report any concerns to the pet owner or supervisor Keep the workspace clean and organized and general cleaning assistance to enable optimal working conditions. Qualifications Experience in pet grooming or related field is preferred Knowledge of different breeds and their specific grooming requirements Ability to handle animals with patience, care, and compassion Strong customer service skills to interact with pet owners effectively Physical ability to lift and restrain larger animals as needed Certification or training in pet grooming is a plus
